add new field for VAT identification number to order form and save it to order item

For B2B shopping carts, a field for the VAT identification number is a common requirement. The feature shoud add a new field to the order form which is disabled by default through a new TypoScript configuration. If the field is filled the data should be saved in the Order/Item.
