Math equations not rendering correctly (katex)

Describe the bug

Hello! I am having an issue with rendering math equations using Katex,

It looks like problem is coming from the flex-direction in this line, which is causing my equations to get pushed far to the right of the page.

Here's an example of how this looks:

Here we can see that the problem is coming from the "math" block:

Removing the flex direction causes the page to be rendered with the correct alignment. Is this flex direction needed? (if yes, is there a workaround I can use for my specific case?)
