Add language selector

Description / Summary

Would be nice if a "language selector" could have been added to the menu bar. Looking into the code, I don't see this this feature implemented, but maybe I might be wrong

I also understand the caveats linked to this (e.g. where the actual .po files are located), but maybe a "framework" could be worked out and than every user could adapt to his/her needs.
