Crosspiece: How to control which part is on top?

Hi, not sure if this is currently possible, but if I have two parts of the same height that completely overlap, how can I set which part should be on top when making a cross piece? Here for example, three sides are the direction I want, while the last side is wrong

Ok, as a workaround I managed to fix it by first adding the "wrong" side, then adding the middle parts and then adding the other parts that were correct before. Some explicit ordering in the crosspiece dialog would be useful though.
