uv is faster than poetry.

Things to check:

  • [ ] dynamic versioning
  • [ ] entrypoints
  • [ ] system to translate plugin content

  • [ ] We could also switch to their code formatting tools (ruff?!)
  • [ ] replace "pre-commit" with "prek"
  • [ ] move our package to a src folder as suggested in the uv docs and pypi docs
