Feature: add an option to automatically maximize and tile windows by default

I know this is a bit out of the purpose of the extension, but as an old school tiling wm user, the only feature I miss on gnome-shell, besides everything that shelltile already provides (and does it wonderfully), is some way in which windows are automatically tiled/grouped/maximized – i.e.: occupy the most screen space available possible – when they are launched.

Would this be something trivial to integrate to shelltile or is it completely out of scope?
