Hi, I think this is what is happening:

(If I'm already inside a text block, it creates a new one with a table at the top... If I click elsewhere outside a block, the addon correctly places the new block with a table at the cursor position)

(Also note there's a bug with the "Line Numbers" option... it was working well before...)
