[IMPORTANT] - No publically support for upcoming Pimcore versions (Pimcore Studio..)
Dear community,
we would like to inform you about an upcoming change regarding the ProcessManager Bundle.
After much consideration, our board of execution has decided to
make this bundle no longer publically available for Pimcore Platform Version 2025.1 and newer
in the future. This decision was not made lightly but comes as a result of the growing effort and resources required to align the bundle with the latest Pimcore Studio versions.
We deeply value the contributions and engagement from the community and are proud of the impact this bundle has had. However, to ensure we can focus on delivering the highest quality and maintaining our internal priorities, we believe this is the right step forward.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Hi @ctippler,
Thank you for all your efforts on this bundle. We've really enjoyed using it.
I understand that a complete rewrite of the GUI to align with Pimcore Studio would be a significant undertaking. We're currently using this bundle for several clients and plan to continue using the classic UI in Pimcore 12 for the foreseeable future.
Assuming the backend code remains compatible with Pimcore 12 (though I haven’t tested it yet), would it be possible to update the composer.json to allow installation in Pimcore 12, for example by adding ^12 to the version constraint? That would let us and others continue using the bundle without needing to fork it.
Thanks again!
Hi, yes sure. We currently havent used it with Pimcore 12 but i guess it will work without significant changes (with the classic ui). So if anyone has a chance to test it and might provide a PR we can do it.
@ctippler We are unsure of what this message means. What do you mean by "no public support available"? Is this bundle dead or will there be a paid version available?
Commenting here for more visibility, I created PR https://github.com/valantic-at/ProcessManager/pull/232.
Thank you very much. I merged this with the existing pimcore12 branch and the ProcessManager v6.x versions should now work with the Classic UI. BR

Hi, there will be no paid version available. BR
do you plan to make this compatible with opendxp?
Hi, no - we will not support opendxp as we don't use it. Maybe we offer the new Version of the ProcessManager (which supports only the Pimcore Studio ) in the Pimcore store, but this is not finally discussed/decided.
