Dual Monitor Problem

I'm facing a problem with dual monitor on Elementary OS the Desktop can be mirror only if all of the application is being minimized But once I click on let say chrome or PDF viewer the screen went blank

workspace does not work with dual monitor setup

I'm also having problems with the second monitor. In my case, the second monitor is detected but it's black. I tried updating the graphics driver but it didn't help. I've been searching for a while now and still couldn't find a working solution.
