Moving a file deselects any other file selections after move is complete

Open ericpritchett opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

What Happened?

While a file is being moved if you select any other file(s) and try to also move them next (ctrl-x) it will deselect those files after the initial move is complete.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Move a large file somewhere and watch the status of the file(s) move.
  2. Before it's finished moving, "cut" (ctrl-x) another file to get ready to move.
  3. After the step 1 is finished moving, you'll notice that the file(s) in step 2 are no longer selected and you have to reselect them and cut them again to move those files.

Expected Behavior

After the initial file(s) is moved any files selected during the move and/or cut (ctrl-x) should remain in that state after the initial file(s) is moved.

OS Version

7.x (Horus)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Note that you can start the second move operation before the first one is completed. When the file operation completes the view is redrawn and this triggers loss of selection. I'll see if this is strictly necessary.
