Samba shares/USB Android and NTFS mountpoints are mixed up

Open rscm opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

What Happened

With Samba or an Android Phone connected (with transfer files activated) and with a NTFS partition present. When you click on the Samba Share or the Phone, you get that little white arrow that represents that the unit/device is mounted. But you also get it on the NTFS partition. And because of that you also can't access that partition. If you click the white arrow to unmount the Phone, everything goes back to normal and you can mount the NTFS partition normally. But with the Phone mounted if you click in the "fake mounted NTFS partiton" you unmount both (the partiton never was mounted in that case)

There has been a significant refactoring of this part of the code here: #1752. If you are able to test out that branch and check whether it fixes the problem that would be helpful. There are known issues with Android phone connections in master.
