Dock size doesn't display as configured size on reboot.

I have my dock size set to medium in desktop settings. When I reboot, the dock size shows as small and will not change until I go into settings and select the desktop settings app. I don't have to change any settings, simply opening the Desktop settings app causes the doc to change to the correct configured size.

I run Hera in a VMWare Workstation VM. I don't know if it has this same problem if installed to bare metal. It would be nice to have it always retain the configured size for the Dock so that I don't have to fix it each time I reboot.
