Prompt user with an infobar on whether they want to keep the HDD containing the file spun up
What Happened
I was editing a new file for an assignment and when I tried to save the document to my ext. HDD it turns out it hadn't. I persume this happened because Code didn't keep the drive spun up until the file was saved and tried to save the file to a sleeping drive. Either way I lost an hours worth of work.
Expected Behavior
Code does not let external drives go to sleep until the user has saved the new document to a specific location, or it at least gives a warning message saying the user should wait for it to save while it spins back up.
Steps to Reproduce
- open a new tab
- write for long enough that the ext. drive you want to save to spins down
- try to save
- close the tab
- try to find the file you 'saved'
