Data loss possible with autosave (Flatpak version)
What Happened?
Using the Flatpak version of Code, after some substantial editing it was noticed that that git gui indicated the entire contents of the file had been deleted even though Code displayed the text of the file. Fortunately manually saving the file restored the saved file to match the contents of Code.
Steps to Reproduce
Unsure how to reproduce other than to keep editing a file with autosave on while monitoring the contents of the saved file.
Expected Behavior
The saved file should always match the contents of Code of never lose data.

I've been using the native version of Code since filing this issue. However, this is something that needs to be fixed before the Flatpak version becomes default (not sure what the timeline is for that)
