Frame drops for 'show extended functionality' animation

What Happened

This screencast is recorded at 60 fps. The smoothness of the movement of the mouse can be compared to the smoothness of the animation. The animation looks very stuttery and feels laggy

Expected Behavior

The extended functionality panel slides smoothly out at at least the same frame rate as the monitor frame rate (60 fps for me)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run Calculator
2. Show extended functionality
3. Observe the animation
