Feature to stop checking for updates

I wanted to have the functionality of the checkbox thing to stop checking for updates when the user does not want to update I ended up writing my own updater module. Provide some features to stop checking for updates maybe cleaning that setInterval in the updater function? I would be happy to submit a PR for this feature
