Swift dependency

I would like to use this module for apps which are not using Swift, and would like if possible to avoid the extra weight of the Swift runtime.

I am happy to do this in a fork if this does not fit your use-case/requirements. If so it would be good to have an outline of which files would need converting to Objective-C in order to achieve this.
