Multiple versions in the installation path after upgrade

A user reported on the forum that they upgraded elasticsearch 3 times and the last time the binary were installed into C:\Elasticsearch\7.6.1\7.8.1\7.9.1\bin\elasticsearch.exe. The user indicated that that the actual upgrade path was 7.6.1 -> 7.9.0 -> 7.9.1. They are not sure where 7.8.1 came from. The installation was done using msi installer on Windows Server 2016.

Correction: this elasticsearch installation was initially created as 7.6.1 and then was updated every minor and major release. They noticed that by the time they upgraded to 7.9,0, the 7.8.1 component of the path disappeared, but after the upgrade it appeared again.

Hi guys, are there any updates? The issue still exists and the latest ES msi installer 7.10 suggests not proper folder. ES 7.9.3 installed in C:\Elasticsearch\7.9.3\
