Group all metrics-related configuration options in the metrics section
We have a bunch of config options related to metrics that end up in different categories:
Reporter configuration options
Can we merge all of these into the Metrics configuration options section? We'll need to be careful and update references to these options, if there are any. The docs build should catch dead links.
Related: while you're reworking the metrics documentation, what is the "official" way to completely stop sending metrics to the APM server? Is it ELASTIC_APM_DISABLE_METRICS=* ?
While I love the ability to have a one-stop shop option to configure all of the observability pillars, we are not currently using Elastic Observability for metrics (mainly because alerting requires one of the paid licenses), they are sent to Prometheus instead. Our metrics indices are just taking up space for nothing.
