Tile does not toggle on OnePlus 13

not much to say, it doesnt work on my new device, oneplus 13

the toggle seems off even if i have turned it on. the notification lisener is there but the screen turns off after the system insterval

Could you please create a screen recording, doing the following?

1. Open the app
2. Scroll down so that the current screen timeout is visible at the bottom of the page
3. Close the app
4. Open the quick settings panel and toggle the tile
5. Reopen the app and again scroll down so that that the current screen timeout is visible

i will upload a video too. mean while 2. was the system interval , 5. was the app setting, it has changed. observations, while the app is in foreground the screen stays on . if i go to the luncher the screen goes off in the system interval.

have bypassed battery optimization, also tried to lock the app, put it in popup window, split view, nothing helped .

to make things more difficult somehow managed to get it to work while switching apps, i forced stopped the app and open it again and have the same problem again.

if it helps, i noticed that if i live the toggle drawer open and press the toggle , the screen wont go off. if i try to resume something else, the interval resets to system setting

Unfortunately, this is not something that can be easily fixed.

You can try and have a look in the settings of your device to see what the highest screen timeout value is and select it from the dropdown in the advanced section of the app. For example, if you select 1,800,000 ms, KeepScreenOn will only try and set a timeout of 30 minutes. Indeed, this might not be what you need but its at least something.

I am planning on adding an intro screen into the app explaining how the app works and warn that it might not work on all devices.

Even setting 30 minutes the device still reverts it to 1 minute some time after clicking the tile, even after the tile says 30 minutes it gets reverted to 1 minute and the tile is not triggered but the notification does show and turning it off has no effect since it was already back at 1 minute

This is unfortunately your phone messing with the timeout. It might for 10 minutes but the higher values will not work on your phone. In the new version, I added a short notice warning users that the higher values might not work on all devices.

I have the same issue, is it possible to pretend to play video or something that keeps the device awake? My device is locked to 1800 seconds so the app doesn't do anything

Can you test it with 10 minutes? Some devices revert the timeout (notably Xiaomi devices) if it is above 10 minutes.

Anything above 30 minutes (1800 seconds) does not work, anything below works. That's why I'm wondering if there's an alternative way to force unlimited screen on.
