Whatsapp not opening on specified desktop, only on the current desktop

When I try

vdesk on:n run:notepad 

or

vdesk on:n noswitch:true run:notepad 

it works fine, however when I try this with the exe of Whatsapp like this

vdesk on:n run:"C:\Path to WhatsApp\WhatsApp.exe"

or

vdesk on:n noswitch:true run:"C:\Path to WhatsApp\WhatsApp.exe"

Whatsapp just opens on the same desktop on which I start the command using a batch-file. What am I doing wrong?
