Alternative quotes (quote design similar to comma)

Thanks for designing and maintaining such a font, it has quickly become one of my favourite monospaced fonts.

My request is that Commit Mono demands quote design similar to how Apple made theirs in SF Mono. I can see how circle or square flavoured quotes be a tool to break the dullness of the typeface but I think it would be great to have an option.

The reason quotes have been designed this way in Commit Mono is to clearly distinguish them from normal quotes. In many fonts it's very hard to tell apart " and “. To avoid bugs they are easy to tell apart in Commit Mono. Add to the mix backtick `` and the double prime character ″ you can maybe see why Commit Mono is designed as it is.
