At this point, I'm wondering whether something bad happened to the maintainer. It's weird that we get no responses whatsoever and he hasn't been active on his X accounts for a very long time.
There are still options to keep Zodios alive even without its original maintainer being involved. Some sort of maintenance mode which keeps up with dependency updates would be more than enough for me. But we need you to hand this thing over to the community, @ecyrbe. Please!
Without an answer from him, is it possible to relaunch the project on another repo? If so, could you help me upgrade it, and later evolve it?
One could always start maintaining a new fork. But to be perfectly honest, I don't know if I'll find the time to do the project justice either.
