The license for this software is apparently missing

Hi,

I was evaluating this software I stumbled upon whilst searching for a Free Linux driver for the Logitech G13 device.

Unfortunately I was not able to find any copyright information, nor (most importantly) what license is this code released under.

Could you verify you own the rights to this code, and in that case could you put a (free software) license notice on it?

Having this code on Github does not automatically mean you are releasing it under any license at all...

Thanks for looking into this! -marco-

I know this is ancient, but I've started using this software and I'd like to maybe build a configurator for it. I'm considering using this driver instead of the Gnome15 because of some issues I had with the latter. A license file would be nice for maintaining the driver and building around it.

It is public domain, I'll try to add a licensing file :)

Splendid. Thank you!

Is the note in the readme enough?

It should be. If you want to make it more official, you can just add a new file from the main repository page and if you call it LICENSE, it will give you a dropdown list with ready-made license files. I too am pretty lazy when it comes to licenses! :)
