Is this project still maintained ?

Just asking if this project is still maintained, in order to decide I we can use it or not ;)

This project is rescued (donated) from Oracle to the open source GIS industry working via LocationTech. JAI itself is heavily used by this community...

Sadly the donation did not include any test coverage so I am not comfortable issuing a 1.0 release.

We have been seeking funds to migrate this Java 11+ and make a 1.0 release ... and this fundraising has now been successful.

So this is a dormant project seeking a resources.
