Data Explorer: Multiple file selection using Shift fails in directories with hundreds of files

Trying to select all files in a directory (in the tested case 750 files) using shift does no work correctly: Selecting the first file by mouse, scrolling down using the scrollbar and selecting the last file while keeping shift pressed does select only a fraction of the files in the directory. This behaviour seems to occur only on the first try, in a second try, all files are selected as expected. A complication is that the faulty behaviour is not obvious to the user: One needs to scroll over the selection to realise that some files are not selected.

Can you retest this, please, on current develop? I would like to know if this got better or worse.

I don't have a measurable metric, but gutwise I would say still the same.
