eclipse starts and exits from product produced by itp04-rcp "Product example.product could not be found."
Currently on fedora with java-11 (did try with java 18 as well) trying to build the itp04-rcp project. The maven build succeeds, and tar.gz and product is produced in target directory, however eclipse fails with the following error:

Ah, this seems to be on the master branch only. tycho-2.7.x branch works ok.
So on the tycho-2.7.x branch the itp04-rcp demo target repo works with: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/2018-09/
but not if you bump to http://download.eclipse.org/releases/2018-12/
so presumably something changes relating to product ids, around then
We have to make it work in master too.
@akurtakov I really wonder if these examples are of any use today given that we do not execute/check them regularly and they are getting out of date with never eclipse releases.
According to this: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=543428#c1
needs product configuration updating to use recommended plugins. So this is after doing that.... https://github.com/eclipse/tycho/pull/1238/files
That seems to allow it to start with release 2022-06

I really wonder if these examples are of any use today
We got at least 1 user who tried it and reported an issue. Those itp things used to be of very high value for tutorials and I still believe they are very nice for newcomers as entry point, but they indeed are getting outdated. I don't know how we could ensure they remain of high enough quality though.
I closed the PR here : https://github.com/eclipse-tycho/tycho/pull/1238 as I it works for me, but I am not sure whether it will causes other problems down the line so I am not confident about taking it further.
