PLEASE update w/ 'Search Functions'...

Still seeking a more private 'offline' calendar app, I tried this again, & it actually worked this time, on Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon. Download the 'kalendar-master.zip' & Extract. Right-Click w/in the 'src' folder, then 'Open in Terminal' & run commands 'qmake' then 'make' from the terminal.

If the author would implement a 'search feature', I would use this app every day. ( PLEASE update w/ a search feature.)

Also, it has a single setting called 'Delete all events older than (months): 2' & keeps defaulting to 2, w/ a max of 99 typed, or if the arrows are used, it stops at 120. ( i.e. 10-years ) I'd like several decades to access; but, regardless it keeps defaulting to 2-months...?

Another issue is an error in importing '.ics' files. Seems many 2015 dates are importing as 2025. ( I realize this is old, however. ) Also, it asks under what category-tag I want to import events. Would be nice if it recognized category-tags & imported them along with each event, & created those new category-tags in the 'category manager'.

Lastly, the 'show only' function under the 'edit' menu, shows one category at a time, but doesn't appear to have a 'show-all' option to return to viewing all-categories at once, again.

Noticed that Kilo-Delta-Echo has since 'used' the name of your app, too...

I swear if these simple changes were made, many would be greatful, running a local-offline calendar, & delete all PIMs.

Please consider updating this great Calendar app.

This is the BEST (most intuitive) offline-local callendar app, available!
