add script to test EasyBuild in a sandbox
this is not working for me. I add to hardcode PATH and PYTHONPATH so it works.
This is what I changed in the script:
PATH=$sandbox/easybuild-framework-eb_sandbox/:$PATH
PYTHONPATH=$sandbox/easybuild-framework-eb_sandbox:$sandbox/easybuild-easyblocks-master:$sandbox/easybuild-easyconfigs-master:$PYTHONPATH
@pescobar: that was a genuine nasty bug, the names of the unpacked tarballs were incorrect indeed
fixed with an extra commit, please redownload the eb_sandbox.sh script and try again?
this is working fine for me now. I have tried these commands successfully
./eb_sandbox.sh -f 936 tbl2asn-1.0.eb
./eb_sandbox.sh -f 936 easybuild-easyconfigs/easybuild/easyconfigs/z/zlib/zlib-1.2.8-goolf-1.4.10.eb
./eb_sandbox.sh -f 936 easybuild-easyconfigs/easybuild/easyconfigs/z/zsync/zsync-0.6.2-goolf-1.4.10.eb
./eb_sandbox.sh -f 936 easybuild-easyconfigs/easybuild/easyconfigs/b/Bonnie++/Bonnie++-1.03e-goolf-1.4.10.eb
./eb_sandbox.sh -f 936 easybuild-easyconfigs/easybuild/easyconfigs/r/RAxML/RAxML-7.7.5-goolf-1.4.10-mpi-sse3.eb
The script currently breaks if the branch name has a slash like in: hpcugent/easybuild-easyconfigs#1371
What about making the sandbox even completer by providing it's own self contained modules tool(s)?
@boegel How relevant is this nowadays?
