delete to delete selected block. arrow-keys to move a block by 1 unit CMD+C to copy a block CMD+V to paste a block including options and dimensions. (should paste the block with a little offset from the copied block's position so you can tell it has been pasted)

Great ideas, @dmastrorillo !

Would you mind to carve out the "history" feature with undo/redo into it's own issue? It really is more complex than the other shortcuts proposed, and should be tackled as a task on it's own, I guess.
