Kindle e-inks have issue with position: relative

This seems to only affect non-paperwhite kindles. I will upload screenshots next week.

I had a problem with position:relative that seemed to affect only the paperwhite. If we used position:relative to position a sup before a footnote link, the link would be broken. The solution in that case was to not use it. The Kindle guidelines say the position attribute is "not recommended for reflowable books." Which I think is their way of saying "it's broken and WONTFIX."
