Private issues

When an issue is marked as private who can see it? Any other special behaviour around private issues?

I also noticed that all issues created from a mailbox get the private check automatically. Is there any reason for this? Can this option be disabled?

I don't think the mailboxreader was updated to use project defaults add in recent versions. It should be updated.

Can you provide some answers to how private issues are used? looked in the docs but could find anything

I've sent a pull request including an easy fix for this.

When an issue is marked as private, only you and the project manager can see it. Private issues are excluded from search results and issue lists for all other users.
