Defaults values for mail issues

wally75 wrote 2014-04-01 at 06:03 For some fields, like category, priority, etc, I set their default values from the Defaults section of the project properties. They work fine for the Issues created manually by a user, but they don't work for the issues created automatically from the mailbox.
In this case, all of them assume the first value of the respective list, both for fields which I set other default values either for fields (for example milestone) I left unassigned values...

Would also be great if you could specify defaults per mailbox so we have more control on how the items are created.
Do you see having a separate set of defaults for issues from the mailboxreader or using the existing project defaults?
This is somewhat related to what I reported here also: https://github.com/dubeaud/bugnet/issues/79 Even thought the other ticket is interesting also, I thing having the defaults working for mailboxes would be a good start at this. Then I could manage to put all new tickets into a "Pending" category and classify manually. At a later stage you can consider extending the defaults into a more granular level (mailbox).
