Cannot start SlowQuitApps on macOS "Big Sur" 11.6.1. The error message is '“SlowQuitApps” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.' A possible explanation could be that the app is not yet notarized. You might ask Apple to waive developer fees.

You should be able to find the app in finder, hold down control while clicking the app icon. Then in the drop-down list press open. If you made this issue just to notify the developers about this you can disregard this comment.

~~sudo spctl --master-disable, enable any source support , Latest Monterey available.~~

As @cryptoAlgori said, this is not a good idea.

sudo spctl --master-disable, enable any source support , Latest Monterey available.

Please please never do this unless absolutely necessary (not in this case). Doing so will significantly decrease macOS' security and leave it vulnerable to random malicious apps that aren't signed with valid certs. There are alternatives available such as what @hermannordaunet suggests above.

I'm unable to do this workaround because my settings are controlled by an employer-installed MDM profile. As such, even right-clicking and opening gives the message that it can't be opened, and the only options are "Move to Bin" and "Cancel".

Also of note is that for some reason I only started facing this issue after upgrading to Ventura. Is it possible for you to notarise this app so that I can continue to use it?
