Missing Simple Location field in Pods

I have a WordPress site equipped with https://pods.io. I am trying to create a Custom Post Type that includes a Simple Location field, but such field is not available to insert.

For what is worth:

• The Simple Location field is visible in regular Posts and the plugin seems to be correctly installed.
• The Venues taxonomy is available for Pods, as a Tags-like widget.

Therefore, currently users creating a custom post can create / select venues using the widget, but they cannot set a location using the Simple Location field.

I don't use Pods, but I will see if I can learn enough to address this. As for venue, the functionality is still undeveloped. It is still planned for a future version.
