back to getting Invalid Crumb. More system instability on the networks
Fetching about 130 tickers and asking for the price (tic.price). Getting 15-20 Invalid Crumb returns.
Experiencing the same results. About ~175 tickers. Getting invalid crumbs for most. Valid results are around 80.
Same here. Three modules "price", "summary_detail", "summary_profile", 5 sec delay between the calls. 9 tickers.
Failed to obtain crumb. Ability to retrieve data will be significantly limited. Max retries exceeded. (Caused by ResponseError('too many 429 error responses'))
Did they put an end to the Yahoo Finance API?
I'm also seeing it. yahooquery==2.4.1
If it helps, I see it more often with GSPC than with SPY.
I also see it using https://yahooquery.streamlit.app/
Thanks.
Also seeing this
I have no idea if this is related, but I usually do prototyping on my local machine, but then use what I learn there on a remote server I have at home. The other day I was working on something and accidentally hit yahoo finance repeatedly and really quickly on my home machine. I then got the 'invalid Crumb' error. I moved to my server, and everything works perfectly there.
Maybe it's been mentioned before, but I think since both machines have different IP addresses, is it possible my local machine has just been banned or something? I can still use yahooquery history on my local machine and get back stock prices, but if I want to get other information like Ticker().all_modules or something like that, it doesn't work.
