Falloffs stop descending and do not reach the bottom if there's no sound withing a timeframe

I like slow top falloffs and in high terminal views when they take some time to descend to bottom and there seems to be some time limit to how long the view is updated after lack of audio. Then they're just stuck there. I'd prefer to have a setting for that time limit.
