Reading content of TAR archive extremly slow and produce high IO load

When I try to open non compressed TAR archive (227Gb, ~117000 file) double commander freezes for 2-3 minutes, while there is a high IO load. For example 7-zip manager open this archive in ~3-4 seconds.

Double Commander version 1.0.8 Windows 11

same exact scenario here, doublecmd 1.1.26 on manjaro, very slow with even a 20gb archive (compared to tar command run in terminal)
