When upgrading app current pin notifications disappear until reboot.

Just upgraded app to version 2.2.0 After it installed the Pin that was displayed on notification went away. I tried clicking app icon on launcher but all it did was have a dialog to create new pinned note. So, tried rebooting phone and Pin magically reappeared. Is there a way to have notes pinned to reappear without rebooting?

MicroPinner tries to restore all current pins on opening the application: https://github.com/dotWee/MicroPinner/blob/6483ea3e26122b76fee72a3c503f420f71dd24bc/app/src/main/java/de/dotwee/micropinner/view/MainDialog.java#L71

If your pins don't appear on opening and only after rebooting, this may be a device-specific issue. You're using a Oneplus 5 on Android 7.1.1 right? Are you using the stock rom or a custom one?
