There has certainly been a change over time, as upgrading from 1.8.0 to 1.16 I've started seeing these errors that I wasn't seeing before.

I've successfully built butler from source (using https://github.com/potbanksoftware/butler) and if I drop it into the spot itch expects it to be (for me `~/.config/kitch/broth/butler/versions/f1203f79c4b65ef2201e95ca81b6b02b7d37cb04` with kitch and `~/.config/itch/broth/butler/versions/15.24.0` with itch)...
I don't think the bigquery data shows whether the download for was a requested package or for one of its dependencies. [`Linehaul`](https://github.com/pypi/linehaul-cloud-function) would first have to start recording that data...
