vertical position of icon not reflecting

Hi, thanks for this project. I'm so happy to learn coding using it. I need your help on one thing if i'm allowed to. I tried to change icon's position but that does not work for me . can you please guide me how to change it ? for example: I want it to be in middle of view, so I need to change the height of the icon

and I need help with background color, how can I make gradient background? THANKS IN ADVANCE ✨
