Markup=True in TextInput

I really want to create a markup effect for my textinput but I failed, but I found 2 things that are helpful, one is CodeInput. I SAW an app that has a CodeInput with some markup effects the link is here https://github.com/kengoon/PyJniusTester/blob/master/main.py

Please who can make this clear for me
