Docker Desktop error "WSL distro terminated abruptly" during Windows start
Description
Recently, after starting my Windows PC and logging in, Docker Desktop shows a popup error headed "WSL distro terminated abruptly." Clicking the "Restart Docker" button appears to solve the issue. Opening WSL while the Docker Desktop dialog is still on screen will fail.
Reproduce
Switch on computer, log in, wait. Popup will appear.
Expected behavior
Until a few weeks ago everything "just worked."

Additional Info
Neither Windows nor WSL appear to have trouble, although while writing this I started "CMD" to gather the version info and clicked the "+" to open an Ubuntu tab, giving me this:
[error 2147942402 (0x80070002) when launching `ubuntu.exe']
Running "wsl --update" gives me "The most recent version of Windows Subsystem for Linux is already installed." The installed version of Ubuntu is the one named "Ubuntu" (no version appended!) from Canonical, version 4.2. WSL version info:
C:\Windows\System32>wsl -v
WSL version: 2.1.5.0
Kernel version: 5.15.146.1-2
WSLg version: 1.0.60
MSRDC version: 1.2.5105
Direct3D version: 1.611.1-81528511
DXCore version: 10.0.25131.1002-220531-1700.rs-onecore-base2-hyp
Windows version: 10.0.22631.3447
FYI Uninstalled Docker for Desktop, downloaded most recent version and installed that, just to be sure, but it shows the same behaviour.
Patches/updates on both Windows and Docker and it starts clean again. WSL itself seems unchanged, looking at the version:

Until the updates the startup behaviour was pretty consistent re the crashes of Docker Desktop. I'm back to normal now.
Hi. My case is the next: I just installed Docker Desktop for the first time in Windows 11; Of course, it is the current version of the software and when I tested it and followed the tutorial for beginners, while at the same time updating it, in a period of 2 days WSL and Ubuntu 22.04.3 were installed on the system without having executed these facilities still. The problem is that when I check the installed distros (with wsl --list --verbose) and that should appear in Configuration -> WSL Integration Resources, only Ubuntu appears and nothing else: This Ubuntu 22.04.3 distro does not appear; What can I do about it? Thanks for your help.
Exact the same case here.
