Upgrade to DNN 9.11.0: Teleri Removal Tool reports old "Messaging" module
Description of bug
When upgrading an old Site (created with DNN version 6 or before), old Messaging module (replaced by Core Messaging afterwards) might be still in place. The upgrade wizard reports this module as Telerik dependency and does not continue removal. After removing messaging.dll from bin, the tool does not detect any dependency any more and the upgrade process continues - including automatic removal of this module
Steps to reproduce
List the precise steps to reproduce the bug:
- on an old site with messaging module installed: unzip upgrade package and start the upgrade wizard
- check for modules using Telerik
- See result
Current behavior
"Messaging" module reported
Expected behavior
Telerik check module should not report "Messaging" module, as this gets removed in the next steps anyways
Additional context
deleting messaging.dll file from /bin folder prevents the report (module gets properly deleted
