Is there a way to be notified by each phonem or syllable that is being soken?

I need to be notified when each part of the current word (or set of words) is being spoken. I tested the "setProgressHandler" but its smallest granularity is the word. Is there a way to "know' when each phonem or syllable is being spoken?
