feature request - option to have small tabs instead of the full width

Hi there, I started to use this UI theme, as well as the corresponding syntax theme, quite recently. I feel pretty comfortable with it, except for the fact that the editor tabs take up all the space, which makes me have to search for the Close button. Is it possible to have tabs like the default "One Dark" theme has? Perhaps as a setting we can enable or disable. Thank you in advance, Lucas
