zindex of different modal

Hi, I need to show a modal that has a link for another modal. All works, but when the second modal is opended, its overlay has the same z-index, 9997, as the first modal, making the second modal appear just over the first one with no visual disabled effect ... Is there a way to customize the zindex of the different modals and overlays so that every new open popup is over the last one, if not the only opened?
