This is an interesting experiment and shows nicely how compact the treeview code actually is.

Did you remove the license headers from the original code or where they added later on?

The Qml Part seems to be BSD starting from a certain commit https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtquickcontrols.git/commit/?id=f6920a23a320df20276fc4a0c00e9b4c89ab79ad
