Audacity Crash (Snap)

Whilst using Audacity the screen will go blank for about a second then come back but be completely unresponsive. The only way I can recover is by doing a CTRL+ALT+F1 terminal, and restart lightdm. Unfortunately I cannot pin it down to any specific action within Audacity.
