Lite: Can't copy or paste anything!

I have tried selecting stuff and hitting ⌘+C & ⌘+V, but it doesn't copy or paste. But I have found that using ^ instead of ⌘ works, but that's utterly f**king stupid!

This is likely because the web version doesn't know that you're running macOS. As a result, it doesn't keyboard shortcuts to use Cmd instead of Ctrl accordingly.

Well using the Cmd key is the way on MacOS not Ctrl :^)

PS. I might just have interpreted your comment wrong.
